  • Senior Project Manager Water Resources

    The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing water and wastewater projects of varying complexity, and ensuring all projects are delivered to internal and external in accordance with the agreed to scope, schedule and budget. This position also requires working with the Department Director on various business development activities. Such business development activities include serving as the technical lead for new proposals, operating as a client service manager to maintain existing relationships, generating new business opportunities, and assisting the Department Director with business development initiatives.

    The Senior Project Manager is expected to be technically proficient in water and wastewater engineering and serve as a technical resource for the Department.  While the Senior Project Manager may be able to delegate technical aspects of the project to subordinates or other members of the department, the Senior Project Manager may also be required to directly perform all technical aspects of water /wastewater projects assigned to them.  Additionally, the Senior Project Manger is expected to facilitate the necessary inter-disciplinary coordination within and outside the Department required to execute projects.

    The Senior Project Manager must recognize the expected level of detail required at each phase of engineering design and take the appropriate steps to execute the design to the appropriate level of detail, and in a manner that minimizes risk to the firm.

    The Stormwater (SW) Engineering Leader will focus on establishing and developing this practice area into a center of excellence for SW and drainage design, with consistent high-quality project delivery.  This Leader will ensure QA/QC rigor on all project deliverables/submittals.  The SW Engineering Leader must strive to meet/exceed goals on business metrics goals for their SW/drainage pool of projects (e.g., utilization, A/R, WIP, etc.).  This Leader will also be engaged collaboratively on business development activities to increase the SW/drainage backlog.

  • Site Civil Project Engineer

    The purpose of this position is to be a part of our Landscape Architecture & Site / Civil Department. Our group performs design services for commercial, retail, institutional and recreational facilities, that include roadway, site, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control, and site utility infrastructure design aspects. These types of projects are taken from the conceptual to final design, and no through construction administration. The ability to work and interact with other design team members, clients, local planning boards and municipal engineers is essential. A proficiency in AutoCAD is required and Hydrologic/Hydraulic design software is preferred.

    We have an opportunity to grow and develop your career through exposure to multiple aspects of project development of transportation projects.  The Designer is a skilled position in the Transportation group and may have the opportunity to support other discipline areas for CAD needs, including Landscape Architecture and Water Resources.  You will work on various assignments alongside Project Engineers and a Project Manager to complete drafting and design tasks.  This position will also offer the opportunity to complete construction inspection of roadway and bridge projects on an as-needed basis.
