This project was identified as a key element in meeting the expected demand and growth for air travel at DEN. The taxiway will add additional airfield pavement north of Concourse C and east of DS RON to provide additional SMGCS routing and RON parking.
Shrewsberry staff roles related to the detailed project scope of work included airfield operations, airfield and runway safety, runway and airfield pavement analysis, design and rehabilitation, storm water conveyance, safety risk analysis, cost estimation, compliance with FAA regulations, support of all or portions of preliminary design through final contract documents, CAD services, and design review and recommendations.
