Shrewsberry served as the Resident Project Representative (RPR) for the Karen Drive Culvert Replacement project. The project, located on the City’s southwest side, replaced an undersized reinforced concrete box culvert that was in poor condition with a new four-sided pre-cast concrete culvert. This culvert carries flow from a small private pond to a small creek. Due to the large watershed, this culvert sees a significant amount of flow during rain events.
In addition to the culvert replacement, this project included full depth pavement reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, regrading and sodding of open ditches, and installation of new guardrail and pavement markings.
