Project Details

Shrewsberry was part of the design team that was selected to perform design and construction services for the Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C Modification of Standards (MOS) project at the Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio. The MOS project was part of a large three to five year program to bring the airfield up to current FAA geometric standards for large Taxiway Design Group 6 aircraft.

Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C included the rehabilitation and modifications of Taxiway B, Taxiway A, Taxiway G, Taxiway C and Taxiway E. Shrewsberry was tasked with the following project design elements: grading and drainage, cross sections, erosion control, and pavement marking. Shrewsberry also assisted with the 30% design report, the preparation of the bidding documents for the design elements that we were responsible for, along with quantity take-offs for our design elements.

Shrewsberry also assisted with construction administration tasks and construction inspection on this project.
