Project Details

The project consisted of an approximately one-mile segment of new, 10-foot wide, paved multi-use trail beginning at Carrigan Road and continuing in a northerly direction along the top of an existing Morse Reservoir levee owned by Citizens Energy Group, roughly parallel to Hague Road, to end at East 216th Street. Levee Trail Phase 2 will complete the final link between the City of Noblesville’s existing Levee Trail Phase 1 and an existing trail into the Town of Cicero, thus providing a continuous multi-use trail connection between Cicero and downtown Noblesville. The installation of Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFB) enhanced the visibility of the new trail crossings at Carrigan Road and Hague Road at East 216th Street.
Services provided by Shrewsberry included topographic surveying, trail design, signing and pavement-marking design, and utility coordination. Additionally, Shrewsberry coordinated with Citizens Energy Group to obtain plan approval and a levee permit.
