As part of our team, you will use your drafting and modeling experience to support Civil engineering solutions to Shrewsberry’s municipal and industrial clients. Typical projects include facilities relating to construction services and water and wastewater services.

This role will support the Potomac River Tunnel in the next major phase of the DC Clean Rivers Project. The project consists of a large-diameter deep sewer tunnel, diversion facilities, drop shafts, and support structures to capture flows from existing combined sewer overflows (CSOs) along the Potomac River and convey them to the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plan for treatment.

The primary function of this position is business development lead and senior project management of various civil engineering projects.  This includes administrative functions, engineering functions, proposals, budgets, scheduling, client meetings, tracking, reporting, contracts, and status reports. This position will have business development responsibilities for developing a market for Shrewsberry services throughout Washington, DC, as well as other geographic areas as assigned.  This position will require periodic travel to other Shrewsberry offices and potential markets.

We are currently seeking an Office Engineer to support Civil engineering solutions to Shrewsberry’s municipal and industrial clients in Washington DC. Typical projects include facilities relating to construction services and water and wastewater services. The Office Engineer is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Office Engineer’s responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management, including:  Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
